Technology Description:

The Company also produces or manufactures mold base, custom mold, modification and repair services.

1. Mold Base
It is the basic structure/main part in the form of steel plates which have been processed by machines such as milling, lathes and others and provided with additional spare parts such as guide pins and others, but does not have molded shapes on the inside yet.

2. Custom Mold
Custom mold is an advanced process through forming the inside of a mold base with a cavity of certain shape. The interior or cavity can then be filled with heated plastic pellets or metal to produce finished product. Both base molds and custom molds can be filled with heated plastic pellets (injection method) or with molten metal/aluminum (casting method). The Company will adjust the steel used based on the specifications of its use. For the injection method, the Company will usually use plastic mold steel, while for the casting method, hot work steel will be used.

3. Modification and Repair
Apart from producing base molds and custom molds, the Company also provides services for modifying and repairing finished molds as well as steel machining.

  • Modifications are usually carried out on molds that have undergone changes in shape or to the latest models with minor changes or changes to the cooling path, etc. Meanwhile, repairs are carried out on molds that have been used with a lifetime of several thousand shots, resulting in wear and tear in the mold cavity. Repairs are carried out to emphasize each axis or line in the cavity, close gaps or cracks and smooth the finished mold.

  • Machining carried out by the Company includes turning, drilling and grinding on steel surfaces according to customer requests.

In the modification and machining process, raw materials are provided by consumers.

Our Capabilities

The Company's current production capacity is 30 (thirty) tons or the equivalent of 100 medium-sized mold base units or 10 large-sized mold base units per month. Meanwhile, for custom molds, the Company has succeeded in increasing the tier from level 2 to level 1, and to grade A (tonnage 150 – 250 kg to > 450 kg). With this success, the Company can now produce molds with small to large tonnage with the following details: -Tonnage > 450 kg or the equivalent of 5 large custom molds, tonnage 80 – 450 kg or the equivalent of 10-15 medium custom molds and tonnase 30 – 80 kg or the equivalent of a small custom mold.

2. CNC Sodick AG100L EDM:
The machine used to cut and scrape molding material using an electrical system, and is also used for milling processes that cannot be completed by a CMC milling machine. EDM machines can also be used as measuring tools by determining the coordinate points of the molding material.
